Just had another of my short stories published in a little magazine called Debut. The story Compensations was originally written for a competition in my writers club. It didn't get anywhere then, but I decided to submit it elsewhere. This just goes to show... just cos one profesional rejects you, doesn't mean another will not LOVE your work. It all depends on such variables as what they were looking for; what they were comparing your work with; what work they happen to have read recently- if someone else happens to send them something similar, it makes your work seem less original.

Just keep going: Write, draw, click- whatever you do best. THEN keep trying to spread the word if you want to find your place in the sun.
